God is important to me because........

On Sunday 14th February, Beth read out a passage that a 6 year old girl had written on why God is important to her.  It is a simple, beautiful and honest account and reminds us all of His call to childlike humility. 

"Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.  Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven" Matt 18:3 NKJV

• He tells me what I should do and what I should not do.

•  He helps me to do things that I don't want to do.

• When I am scared he helps me to be brave.

• He helps me carry on when I am frustrated.

• When I am poorly he helps me get better.

• When I have fallen over he helps me get better and be fine again.

• When I am sad he sends his angels down to help me.

• When I am in trouble he gets me out of it.

• When nobody lets me play God plays with me.

• When I do not have anyone to talk to I can talk to God.

• When someone has fallen over he says to me you should help them because they might of hurt themselves.
