New Job
After thrmonths of not hearing a thing, from any potential employer that I had sent my C.V. or returned an application form to, last week I had five interviews. Two – school related IT technician positions two part time in the caring profession (I though maybe I could do both!) and one to be a bike courier in Reading. God had said He would show me the job, 1.`Like a needle has only one hole to thread the cotton, there’s only one job 4 u, and it’s not going to b taken away`, 2.`God will show u the job He has 4 u & it’s not going to b taken away` & 3.`To find the job will seem like finding a parking place in an under ground car park, not clear to see but if there’s a space take it` Umm that one needed some thinking through or so I thought… but it turned out 2 b the clearest, read on. I rang up the courier business and the phone call went something like this! “You’re not really in our area but we have been thinking of starting up a base in Southampton, see if u can find an empty unit then turn up & see us and we’ll have a chat over a cupper…hmm. Well I felt encouraged to do just that. I found some units that were available took some photos and rang up the council for the info. With then the photo’s and info in hand I just turned up at the Reading courier business, called `Post Haste`. The boss arrived 20 minutes later & we talked… he looked at the photos & info… we talked some more…he then said lets go and talk to my finance man, we talked `all three of us`… then the boss suddenly said to the finance man lets stop just talking about this…He turned to me and said would you be prepared run a Southampton base…I said YES… back to the finance man, the boss said “we have here a man in Southampton he can run it, lets do it, we’ll go down to Southampton and have a look at these & other units”. “Paul lets start by having u work here as a courier and learn the ropes then when we are ready for a Southampton base come up here & work in the office to learn the software we use, then start the new base…what do u say Paul”? I said YES. “Great let get the paper work done then let us know when your ready to start. Goodbye”!! I have started and it’s going well… Please pray for: Strength & that the Southampton branch will happen before the years out!!
Thank you for praying
